SUMMER ACTIVITIES

The Island Players is pleased to announce a summer partnership with the Anna Maria Island Community Center [AMICC] to host a drama camp for local children.

The purpose of this community partnership is to encourage and develop young people who will carry forth our passion for theater well into the future. Auditions for each performance of the drama camp will be held at the community center.

The drama camp will host two drama camp sessions spanning two-week periods. The first session will be June 14th to 25th and the second from August 2nd to 13th.

Supervisor for the drama camps is April Jonatzke, the AMICC's Education Director. Island Players is excited to provide this new learning venture for our area youths so they can develop a better understanding of theater and performance.

Our special thanks go to the Anna Maria Community Center for their partnership and for taking on this exciting new project. We look forward to working with this talented team.
