Founded in 1949, The Island Players, Inc. is an organization dedicated to providing artistic experiences for the communities of Anna Maria Island and its neighboring cities
through the presentation of stage productions.
The Island Players are pleased to announce the upcoming play by the "Island Childrens Players" of the Center of Anna Maria Island.
This year’s play is tilted,
“A Quest For Good Manners: A Medieval Adventure”
and is geared just for kids and directed by Pam Sikkema
It’s the Middle Ages, and a wicked spell has been cast on the kingdom: good manners have suddenly disappeared, and it’s up to Sir Gwendolyn and Sir Dancelot to bring them back. The two knight’s (both relatively new to this “quest” thing) have no clue what to do, and of course things go terribly wrong. But luckily for the kingdom, they run into just the right characters to help them (re)discover polite behavior.
There will be 2 performances that are open to the public on Friday, July 20th, 2018. Times to be announced.
